Physiotherapist Kamil Rokita

I have a master's degree in Physiotherapy at the Academy of Physical Education in Krakow and the right to practice the profession with number 75590. I specialize mainly in myofascial methods, I often supplement my manual work with kinesiotaping and exercises. I always try to find the cause of pain, not just eliminate the symptoms.

Physiotherapist Kamil Rokita

As an athlete who has been competing on the international arena for many years and a member of the National Equestrian Team for several years, I can confidently say that the specification of this sport and the most common injuries are well known to me. I myself have suffered a few injuries due to not knowing how to prevent them. Now as a physiotherapist, I want to expand the awareness of riders about the essence of therapy, working with their own body and performing exercises that compensate for muscle imbalance.

Other sports such as dancing, slackline, volleyball or kitesurfing are also familiar to me, which makes it easier for me to understand the problems and injuries of athletes of various disciplines.

I am a 5th year physiotherapy student at the Academy of Physical Education in Krakow. In addition to the knowledge gained at university, I take part in numerous courses and trainings that broaden my qualifications in the field of physiotherapy and massage. I am a certified Fascial Manipulation therapist, so the concept of fascia is close to my heart. I specialize in Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Nui massage, which has become my passion. In my practice, I focus on contact with the client, ensuring that he understands exactly what is happening behind the door of my office.

Massage therapist Filip Oleksik

For 10 years I have been involved in the sport discipline - Slackline. I am the current Polish champion and I have numerous titles on the international arena. Throughout my sports career, I have done many shows and workshops around the world, which taught me how to work and communicate with people. Through the sports environment in which I rotate, I had the opportunity to work with Redbull players and former Olympians.

Physiotherapy

It is a combination of the use of various manual techniques, properly selected exercises and patient education. Our goal is to remove pain, balance muscle imbalances and to prevent injuries. In this way, we improve the quality of life of our patients.

In our office, we mainly work with the FM-Fascial Manipulation method. During visits, we also use other myofascial methods, kinesiotaping, MTG and Anatomy Trains.

Before arriving for your appointment, be sure to read our guide: How to prepare for a visit?

What do we offer?

Treatment of chronic pain

Spine, shoulder, elbow, knee or even little toe. No matter what part of your body hurts, most likely we can change it! The shorter the time of functioning with pain, the easier it will be to cure it, so if something hurts, do not hesitate, just make an appointment.

Preoperative physiotherapy

If you are already scheduled for surgery, it is worth going to a physiotherapist before it. With various myofascial methods, we are able to reduce pain and better prepare the body for surgery. Patients who use preoperative physiotherapy recover faster after surgery. It is also worth learning how to handle various medical devices, e.g. crutches before the procedure, then walking with them will be less scary and safer after the operation.

Postoperative physiotherapy

If you have already had ligament reconstruction, endoprosthesis, arthroscopy or other surgery, postoperative physiotherapy will help you recover faster. We help patients return to their pre-surgery efficiency and often even improve it. We work with the scar so that it is mobile and does not cause a lack of fascia slip, thanks to which we also influence the aesthetic values. We also take care of the mental sphere of the patient through his education. Our patient always knows what he can do and what he can't do and never goes home without a set of exercises.

Sports physiotherapy

If you are an athlete, no matter what discipline, you are probably struggling with various ailments of the musculoskeletal system. Sport, of course, is worth practicing, but there are no ideal sports that do not cause overloads at high intensity. Because we are athletes ourselves, we understand the specificity of many disciplines, which helps us find the cause of the problem. We also plan complementary exercises to loosen some muscle groups and strengthen others to prevent injury.

Rider physiotherapy

It is still sports physiotherapy, but it deserves a distinction in our office. Kamila, a physiotherapist, has been in contact with this discipline since she was a child and is very successful in show jumping. Due to her extensive experience, she perfectly knows the problems of horse riders and knows what muscle tensions most often lead to injury. Do you think knee or back pain is normal in this sport? Sign up for a visit and see that it can be changed.

PhysioInspection

If you feel something is wrong, but you can't tell exactly what. You feel a pull here, a stretch there, sometimes your left knee hurts, sometimes your elbow, occasionally your head. It doesn't make it very difficult for you to function, but you would like to check if everything is ok and prevent the possible increase of the problem. Come to us and we will conduct a thorough interview and perform specialist movement tests. We approach each patient individually and with understanding of their concerns. Preventive health is really important.

Post-traumatic physiotherapy

Often underestimated injuries such as a sprained ankle or a pulled muscle also require the attention of a physiotherapist. Self-healing of such an injury is only half the battle. It often happens that unhealed injuries cause pain in another, even remote place in the body. It is worth working with such a problem in the first few weeks, it definitely increases the chances of full recovery.

Massage

Massage is a way of working with the body that has been used for centuries in almost all cultures of the world. There are many forms and techniques of massage, despite such a large variety, most of them relax the muscles and support the body's regeneration processes. Massage also has a positive effect on the psyche, bringing calm and reducing stress levels.

In our office, we are aware that mental health is as important as physical health, therefore we offer Lomi Lomi Nui massage, hot stone massage and relaxing massage.

What do we offer?

Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Nui massage

The Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Nui massage is a beautiful journey into yourself. It is a full body massage, excluding intimate zones, characterized by long and smooth movements performed to the rhythm of music. Hence the term Lomi Lomi Nui as a massage with a soft cat's paw. The massage is based on the Polynesian philosophy that strives for harmony and balance. Lomi Lomi Nui is not only a very pleasant experience, but also a huge benefit for the body. It improves circulation, firms the skin, supports the slimming process, relaxes muscles and fascia, allowing you to slow down and rest from the rush of life.

Hot stones massage

Hot stone massage is an Indian technique based on the theory of energy flow. The stones are placed on the chakras, and the movements take place within energy channels called meridians. This is to achieve an energy balance, which is followed by an improvement in mood and reduction of muscle tension. It is the perfect choice for people who love warmth. Basalt stones have a very high heat capacity, which means that they maintain the temperature for a long time and effectively transfer it to the body of the massaged person.

Relaxing massage

It is a full body massage, excluding intimate zones. Performed with relaxing music and candles, it leads to relaxation and improvement of well-being. It is addressed to people living under permanent stress, as well as those who want to take care of their body. It has a positive effect on blood and lymph circulation, which helps prevent water retention in the body and prevent swelling.
